Job Title: SAP Solution Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Solution Manager to lead our test management activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management, with strong technical skills in SAP Solution Manager, Worksoft Certify, and PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage test management activities for all test phases required within a project/upgrade/update or fix release.
  • Provide guidance and direction on test activities to project management teams.
  • Ensure all test artefacts are managed within the chosen test tool for test preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Ensure traceability from business requirements to executed test scenarios.
  • Manage testers to enable them to create and deliver test cases in the designated tool.
  • Track test progress for test preparation and execution.
  • Use the designated Test Management tool for the creation of Test plans/packages and assignment of test cases.
  • Defect Handling and Continuous Improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Test Planning and Execution: Deep understanding of Release testing lifecycle, test cases creation and repository, testing enablement (test plan/package/testers assignment) and execution strategies.
  • Tool Expertise: Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager (SXP Test Suite), Worksoft Certify and Analytic tools like PowerBI, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, Signavio Integration.
  • Test Management: Testing Milestones and activities Planning, Change Document Handling, FT, UAT and REG Coordination, Work as a team with IS-Testing during Testing Enablement.
  • Leadership and Communication: Cross-functional collaboration, Status Report, Escalation and Decision-Making, Presentation and Training.
  • Problem Solving and Risk Management: Defect Analysis, Risk Mitigation, Identify potential blockers and plan contingency together with stakeholders at different testing stages.
