Job Title: IT Plant Head

As a key member of the operations team, this role will be responsible for leading the site's IT team and collaborating with cross-functional teams and HO departments to drive systems improvements, CAPAs, and digital projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing overall IT infrastructure, applications, and systems supporting manufacturing operations. They will be responsible for evaluating and upgrading existing IT infra systems, applications, and OT technologies to meet technology transformations and compliance requirements.

This role requires strong technical skills, including networking components, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and cable systems. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in ensuring all IT systems comply with industry regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to GxP standards.

Additionally, the IT Plant Head will be responsible for maintaining good documentation practices for IT infrastructure, applications, configurations, and procedures. They will also ensure information security measures, including cyber security protocols and privacy security standards to protect sensitive data.

Other key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to IT systems, providing timely support to minimize downtime. The role also involves handling data backup of all critical systems and being conversant with online backup systems like Veeam and Acronics.

The IT Plant Head should have a solid understanding of relevant guidelines and compliance standards, such as cGAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU-Annexure 11. They will also assess system gaps applicable to user management, data backup, systems hardware, software, and implement corrective actions.

Familiarity with L1 systems upgradation and L2 integration, as well as OTIT integration technologies like Kepware Gateway for PLC & IPC integration with central DAS systems, is highly desirable. A good knowledge of quality management systems, change controls, incidents, deviations handling, RA, and CAPA is also required.

Industry 4.0 strategies and smart manufacturing initiatives are an advantage for this role. The IT Plant Head will be responsible for handling annual IT budgets for operations and CAPEX for projects.
