Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will possess both knowledge and technical depth about the company's plant and machinery operations. They will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the department, including equipment maintenance and operation.

  • Erect, dismantle, maintain, and operate Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, and other specialized equipment.
  • Develop and implement methodologies for equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists.
  • Control spare parts inventory and optimize costs through sourcing and procurement.

Additionally, they will generate monthly MIS reports to the Mechanical Head at HO/Project In-charge and maintain site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep.

Responsibilities include making budget estimates for spares and running expenses for each machine, monitoring them on a monthly basis, and ensuring optimum use of plant and machinery corresponding to their rated productivity output.

Furthermore, they will be responsible for training personnel, workers, and operators on the safe use of equipment, maintaining records, and implementing service schedules to achieve minimum breakdowns and maximum availability of equipment at site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
