Key Responsibilities

  • Implement governance solutions spanning across Dremio/spark/iceberg technologies
  • Make recommendations to improve Lakehouse platform throughput and reliability
  • Implement security measures and access controls for Iceberg tables
  • Work with others to define, review, and revise evolving Data Architecture
  • Enable secure self-service capabilities in the ECS lakehouse

Requirements

  • Proficiency in implementing RBAC / ABAC strategies
  • Well-versed in modern engineering tech stack like python, spark, pyspark, kubernetes, airflow
  • Critical eye to support Governance Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data access control mechanisms
  • Ability to envision and deliver solutions within a modern infrastructure

Desirable Requirements

  • Familiarity with data mesh principles and architecture
  • Familiarity with Teradata, Greenplum, and ECS
