IT Asset Manager

Ensure the company's IT assets are properly managed, from procurement to disposal. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT asset management and software asset management tools, as well as a solid understanding of license models and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop End-to-End ITAM Processes: Develop and implement ITAM processes for hardware and software assets, ensuring cost optimization and compliance.
  • Manage SAM Lifecycle: Manage the software asset management lifecycle, including license management, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with procurement, finance, security, and IT operations teams to ensure effective communication and process improvement.
  • Conduct Compliance Checks: Conduct software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers, ensuring accurate data and timely issue resolution.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and drive automation within the ITAM/SAM practice, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong Experience in ITAM and SAM Tools: Proficiency in ITAM and SAM tools, such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Ivanti.
  • Understanding of License Models: Solid knowledge of license models, including perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, and enterprise agreements.
  • Compliance Management: Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management: Ability to manage the entire hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, disposal, and refresh.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement.
  • Analytical and Reporting Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
