Estimation Expert

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a global team in delivering high-quality cost estimation services.

The Estimation Expert will play a pivotal role in providing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimations for Controls, HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems. This will support pre-sales and project planning efforts by evaluating project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand the needs and objectives of clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work
  • Conducting thorough technical analysis and feasibility studies
  • Ensuring engineering design integrity
  • Utilizing industry knowledge and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Refining estimation methodologies and processes
  • Coordinating with Design, Procurement, and Production teams
  • Providing support to Project and Operations teams
  • Assisting in the development of proposals, bids, and tender documents
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Engaging with clients, contractors, and vendors

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation. Functional skills include cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement. Competency areas include Estimation & Costing, Technical Coordination, Proposal Development, Communication, Problem Solving, and Process Optimization.
