ADAS Engineering Director

As an ADAS Engineering Director, you will oversee the engineering design, development, and integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) components. This includes sensors, cameras, radar, lidar, and control systems.

You will work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration into OEM vehicle platforms. Your role will involve managing technical risk assessments and proposing mitigation strategies.

Acting as the primary technical interface between our company and OEM customers for ADAS product development, you will lead discussions on system integration, requirements, and validation processes.

Aligning OEM requirements with internal engineering capabilities is crucial in this position. You will manage technical reviews, design reviews, and program milestones with OEMs, while also monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in ADAS development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of ADAS technologies is essential for this role. Hands-on experience in ADAS system design, integration, and validation is also required. A proven track record of working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry is necessary.

A strong foundation in automotive engineering, embedded systems, and control systems is important. Experience leading technical discussions, product integration, and system validation with OEMs is also required.

Understanding of ADAS technologies, sensors (camera, radar, LiDAR), and perception algorithms is necessary. Experience in vehicle integration, system engineering, and E/E architecture is also important.

Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay) is essential for this role.
