Senior Platform Architect

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the design, development and implementation of scalable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical innovations and best practices within the engineering team.

The successful candidate will oversee the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment. They will also implement automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.

  • Design and develop scalable infrastructure solutions to support application development and deployment.
  • Implement automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor system performance, make recommendations for improvements and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Necessary Skills:

- Proven experience in leading platform engineering or similar roles, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Go.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
