Leads Data Initiatives with a Strategic Mindset

Candidates for this role should be seasoned Directors with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive business intelligence and analytics to new heights. As a leader in data initiatives, they will define delivery excellence, ensure governance, and mentor teams to build scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Delivery
  • Oversees the entire lifecycle of Business Intelligence, DWH, and Data Analytics projects, from requirements gathering through development and deployment.
  • Ensures timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Serves as the primary escalation point for project risks, challenges, and stakeholder concerns.
Project Quality & Governance
  • Establishes and implements best practices, standards, and quality frameworks across BI, DWH, and Data Science initiatives.
  • Guarantees that all solutions are scalable, secure, governance-compliant, and aligned with organizational policies.
  • Drives continuous process improvement, governance maturity, and innovation in delivery methodologies.
Leadership & Mentoring
  • Leads, mentors, and inspires cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, data science professionals, and project managers.
  • Provides technical guidance across BI, DWH, and Data Science domains.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Business & Stakeholder Management
  • Partners with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into actionable BI, DWH, and DS solutions.
  • Drives stakeholder alignment and ensures projects deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Presents insights, project outcomes, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and business-oriented narrative.
Technology & Innovation
  • Guides the adoption of modern BI platforms, cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery), and data science models.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and DS methodologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and analytical capabilities.
