Job Title

Motion Designer and Video Content Creator - this role involves the creation of engaging animated videos to help users understand complex concepts.

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production.

Key skills include strong storytelling ability, comfort working with abstract concepts, and ability to work under creative direction while also proposing improvements. A solid portfolio showcasing 2D or motion graphic explainers is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities will include designing and animating explainer videos, transforming scripts and storyboards into polished motion videos, collaborating with copywriters and SMEs to simplify complex content, creating animated assets (charts, UI flows, crypto concepts), recording or editing voiceovers, syncing audio, and applying subtle sound design. Additionally, maintaining brand style guides, animation principles, and reusable templates is a crucial aspect of this role. Optimizing videos for YouTube, app platforms, and social media is also an essential task.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, as well as a passion for creating engaging educational content. Experience creating educational content for YouTube or learning platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with Web3, tokens, wallets, or DeFi systems. We are looking for a talented Motion Designer & Video Content Creator who can bring our vision to life and deliver high-quality animated videos that captivate and educate our audience.

We require a professional with excellent communication and project management skills, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Deliverables will include 1-3 minute animated explainers (script-to-final with feedback cycles), script-to-final output cycle (including feedback rounds), social media cutdowns (10-30 seconds), and source project files (AE, layered assets, etc).

Applicants should submit their portfolio or reel showcasing animated explainers, list of tools used (e.g., AE, Figma, Blender), expected rate (hourly or per video), and availability (start date + weekly hours).
