Job Title: IT Infrastructure Strategy Manager

This is a senior leadership role responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, and data centers to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Development & Management
    • Define and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals and scalability needs.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning
    • Manage hybrid environments (e.g. Nutanix, cloud migrations) with cost optimization.
  • Security & Compliance Frameworks
    • Implement infrastructure security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching
    • Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and enable growth.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning
    • Design, implement, and test DR and business continuity plans.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting Strategies
    • Oversee proactive monitoring of systems and networks; resolve incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Vendor Relationships & Procurement
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure budgets; recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting Standards
    • Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare reports on infrastructure health and KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.
  • Proven expertise in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
