Senior Director

Job Description

The Senior Director will be responsible for leading a team of analysts that support the RFP process. This role involves owning directly a certain body of work and providing support to the organization for other parts.

The team will be responsible for turning around accurate responses (counts, data profiles) to support pre-sales/sales teams. The Sr. Director will oversee the process, accuracy, turn-around time, and team skills.

The Senior Director will also provide guidance and oversight for consulting delivery work. This includes shaping how the work is funnelled to the offshore team and optimizing how the work is delivered.

The most critical aspect is quality checking the outputs to align with commitments made to clients.

In addition, the Senior Director will be responsible for building Indication Specific Data Lakes.

The RWD team aims to productize our offerings. One key asset is creating indication-specific data lakes that can be used as delivery accelerators.

The Senior Director will supervise offshore resources to build, expand, and maintain this data lake powered by unstructured notes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and subject matter expertise in Real World Data and clinical experience.

They must either have a post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics, or a post-grad degree in CS, Math, or equivalent with exposure of no less than 5-7 years in core data science algorithm development.

They should have at least 7-10 years of experience in leading teams globally distributed setups delivering consulting work predominantly Data Science and Data Engineering oriented.

Total of 15-18 years of work experience with 80% or more of the most recent experience being in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains required.
