Business Process Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Manager to lead initiatives that harmonize business processes and optimize operational efficiencies across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Holistic Operational Excellence
Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for harmonizing processes across the region, ensuring a standardized approach to operations. Collaborate with regional teams to review and refine target operating models, aligning them with regional requirements and strategic goals.
- Tech-Enabled Transformation
Identify and prioritize automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational redundancies. Act as a liaison between regional agencies, promoting best practice sharing and effective deployment of technologies.
- High-Performance Agency Network Management
Establish and implement a high-performance mindset within regional agencies, driving initiatives that encourage best practices sharing, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement. Monitor and coach QPMs to improve agency performance across the region.
- Regional Improvement Initiatives
Lead regional improvement projects focusing on operational waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Conduct regular assessments to uncover opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and simplification across various functions. Engage stakeholders across the region to drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Operational Deployments
Deploy Target Operating Models in regions, minimizing exceptions and managing Country Manager expectations. Implement new tools and processes within the Region, monitoring adoption and project implementation before handover to Business units.
- Project Management & HO Contribution
Participate in HO global projects, working closely with HO BEX team and external teams to manage the effective implementation of projects. Act as a focal point for the region, providing regional specificities and process needs. Collaborate and assist Agencies during GBS transition projects.
- New Cluster or Agency Setup
Lead the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies, ensuring alignment with business standards and operational targets. Provide guidance on standard operating procedures, resource allocation, and technology requirements to establish a solid foundation for new entities.
To be successful, this role requires advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with conceptual and strategic thinking. An inspiring management style that incorporates vision and values, naturally collaborative, bold, and teamwork driven.
Key Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain, or Business Management.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and/or business process improvement.
- Certification in LEAN Six Sigma, Project Management advantageous.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and align operational processes with strategic business goals.
- Change Management: Skilled in managing change effectively to drive the adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies, able to identify and deploy relevant tools for process improvement.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in identifying opportunities to reduce waste, automate tasks, and simplify workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, assess performance, and inform process optimizations.
