Job Title

The role of a Senior Legal Strategist requires expertise in managing and mitigating legal risks, ensuring seamless transactions, contracts, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include negotiating agreements, resolving disputes, proposing solutions, advising on regulatory matters, communicating with government authorities, updating management on contingent liabilities and litigation costs, providing advisory services for brand equity, image building, and strategy to maximize recovery value.

This position demands strong leadership skills, discipline, internal control, setting up proper filing systems, procedures & back-up systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Managing civil and criminal litigations, arbitration, mediation, NCLT, rent matters, cheque dishonor, and other disputes.
  • Handling trademark issues of TCIL/SOTC/TCI & other TC Group Companies.
  • Providing legal advice on business agreements/projects.
  • Strategizing and driving to maximize recovery value.
  • Communicating with government and regulators.
  • Rendering advisory services for brand equity and image building.
  • Updating management on contingent liabilities and litigation costs.
  • Advising on property matters, including obtaining premises on leave and license basis.
  • Finalizing criminal complaints in fraud cases, coordinating with security consultants, assisting in POSH matters, vetting business contracts, data protection agreements, GDPR compliant documents, and special projects assignments.
