Sourcing: Identify and source scrap metal from industrial manufacturers, demolition companies, and recycling facilities.
Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand our market share.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the scrap metal industry to inform decision-making and strategy.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transportation and logistics of scrap metal shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  3. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and suppliers.
  5. Strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
