We are seeking an innovative R&D professional to drive our product development and growth strategy.

As a pivotal Research and Development Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of engineered quartz stone manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive strategies, leading research initiatives for sustainable products, and innovating surface design to maintain market leadership.

R&D Strategy

You will manage the full product lifecycle from concept, prototyping, and scale-up to commercialization. This involves:

  • Developing and executing R&D strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Leading research initiatives for next-generation engineered quartz products, including sustainable solutions.
  • Innovating in surface design, aesthetics, and performance characteristics to maintain market leadership.
Product Development & Formulation

You will be responsible for managing the full product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, focusing on:

  • Developing and optimizing quartz-resin composite formulations for enhanced performance.
  • Applying expertise in unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy systems, curing agents, and coupling agents to create products with superior mechanical and functional properties.
Process Optimization & Manufacturing

You will oversee and refine production processes, parameters, and advanced manufacturing techniques, ensuring:

  • Efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement through process optimization.
  • Seamless alignment from R&D to commercialization through collaboration with production teams.
Testing & Quality Assurance

You will develop and execute testing protocols for physical, chemical, and mechanical performance of finished goods, covering:

  • Raw material analysis, in-process monitoring, and finished product validation.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with industry certifications.
Cross-functional Collaboration

You will partner with marketing, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless alignment from R&D to commercialization, providing:

  • Technical expertise to support product positioning, market introduction, and customer requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in R&D, formulation development, or process engineering within engineered stone, composites, or related industries.
  • A strong track record of successful product development and commercialization.
Skills

This role requires:

  • In-depth knowledge of resin systems, composite materials, and curing mechanisms.
  • Hands-on expertise in laboratory research, pilot testing, and process scale-up.
  • Proficiency in physical, chemical, and mechanical testing protocols for raw materials and finished goods.
