We're seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, develop and implement data pipelines for biopharma scientific research data analytics.

Job Description
  • We are looking for an individual who can manage scope, timelines and risks to ensure the successful implementation of large-scale data projects.
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining semantic data models for biopharma scientific data, data dictionaries, and other documentation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with global teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implementing data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Leveraging cloud platforms to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Doctorate Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related field; or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and supporting biopharma scientific research data analytics software platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering, test automation frameworks, and scripting tasks.

Familiarity with the Following Tools and Technologies is a Plus:

  • AWS Cloud Platforms.
  • Databricks.
  • RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL server, PostgreSQL).
