We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Python, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Behave) for end-to-end testing of web applications, REST APIs, and integration projects in an Agile environment.

Job Description

About the Role:

The QA Automation Tester will work as part of a small Agile/Scrum team to assess test scenarios and define test requirements using risk-based testing methodology.

  • Collaborate with Test Manager, Product Managers, BAs, and Developers to ensure effective test strategy execution.
  • Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave).
  • Perform Web Application, Web Services, and REST API automation testing.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure quality deliverables within timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform end-to-end test activities including test strategy, plan, conditions, scripts, data, reporting, and execution.
  • Covering Product Test, Integration Test, Technical Test, and Deployment Test.
  • Work proactively in ambiguous/uncertain environments, managing risks effectively.
Requirements

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of QA experience (minimum 4+ years in Selenium BDD framework).
  • Strong expertise in Python for automation testing.
  • Hands-on in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (SpecFlow / Behave).
  • QA automation for Web Applications, Web Services, REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and manual testing practices.
  • Skilled in test case design, execution (manual + automation), and QA methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
