Secure Application Expert

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our application security initiatives, ensuring the development and delivery of secure software solutions.
This role involves managing security testing, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation efforts while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security testing, cloud security, DevSecOps integration, and security architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST, mobile, and API security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Conduct VAPT, prioritize vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks using threat modeling and OWASP ASVS.
- Ensure cloud security by securing AWS and Azure environments, adhering to CIS Benchmarks and GDPR/HIPAA.
- Maintain compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and other security frameworks.
- Integrate security into SDLC, automating security checks within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Design secure application architectures and promote secure coding practices across teams.
- Lead security assessments, mentor junior team members, and conduct security awareness workshops.
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Java, .NET; Modern: React, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby/Rails, and Angular.
- CMS: Magento-Adobe, and Avocode.
Desired Cloud Skills: Expertise in AWS and Azure.
Security & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, OWASP ASVS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
DevSecOps Experience: Embedding security in CI/CD pipelines and secure SDLC practices.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
