Senior Clinical Research Manager

Our organization seeks an experienced Senior Clinical Research Manager to oversee clinical trials and research studies. As a key member of our team, you will lead the execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Trial Management:
    • Develop, implement, and manage clinical research projects from start to finish.
    • Coordinate and supervise the execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
    • Ensure timely completion of clinical trials, adhering to established protocols and timelines.
    • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor clinical research staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project needs and goals.
    • Develop training programs and provide ongoing coaching for research teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation, including institutional review board applications and clinical trial applications.
    • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
    • Ensure timely reporting of adverse events and maintain accurate records.
  • Study Design & Protocol Development:
    • Collaborate with scientific and medical teams to develop clinical trial protocols.
    • Evaluate feasibility and risk of proposed studies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve study design and protocol development processes.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Ensure efficient data collection, monitoring, and analysis.
    • Review and analyze clinical trial data to ensure quality and integrity.
    • Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, allocating resources effectively to ensure timely completion.
    • Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Facilitate open communication between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with clinical research coordinators, data managers, and other departments to ensure effective study execution.
    • Resolve issues related to clinical trial execution, providing solutions and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement in clinical trial execution and management.
    • Implement best practices to optimize research efficiency, compliance, and quality.
