Guest Service Specialist

Job Opportunity:

- Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.">
- Communicate company values and culture to new employees.">
- Review and implement new Reservations procedures.">
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.">
The Reservation Executive will identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types. They will verify availability of room types and rates, explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers, and accommodate and document special requests.

- A high school diploma or equivalent.">
- At least 2 years of related work experience.">
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.">
- Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.">
- Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.">
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.">
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.">
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.">
- Anticipate and address guest service needs.">
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.">
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.">
Preferred Qualifications:

- A background in hospitality or a related field.">
- Knowledge of hotel operations and software systems.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
