ESG Manager

Job Description:

The ESG Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing a robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy that aligns with the organization's sustainability goals.

  • Develop and implement an ESG strategy that incorporates organizational and sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities:

The ESG Manager is responsible for leading ESG and sustainability reporting in line with established frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, TCFD, and SBTi. This includes ensuring adherence to ESG-related disclosures, including CDP, UNGC membership, and others.

  • Lead ESG and sustainability reporting in accordance with relevant frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to ESG-related disclosures.
Key Accountabilities:

The ESG Manager owns and drives ESG performance metrics and periodic reporting. Ensuring 100% compliance with all applicable ESG regulations, policies, and global standards is also a critical aspect of this role. Furthermore, fulfilling stakeholder requirements through transparent ESG communication and engagement is essential.

Deliverables/KPIs:

The following deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) are expected from the ESG Manager:

  • Timely publication of annual ESG/sustainability reports aligned with GRI, BRSR, TCFD, etc.
  • Demonstrated improvement in ESG ratings (e.g., CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics).
  • Reduction in GHG emissions and other key environmental indicators.
  • Strengthened ESG governance and audit readiness.
  • High stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement and disclosure.
  • Integration of ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making.
