Category Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Manager to lead our Toys category.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding leading brands, launching them across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels. This includes managing global brand lifecycle, scaling in international markets, and curating a portfolio of exclusive Toys brands.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in category management, with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier networks in the Toys industry. They will also possess expertise in marketplace/retail selling, including category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.

Key responsibilities include driving growth through assortment expansion, optimizing underperforming SKUs, iterating packaging, content, and supply chain, and partnering with cross-functional teams for maximum performance. Additionally, they will contribute to a robust omnichannel presence across Ecommerce and offline channels, maximizing profitability and scalability through margin management and GMV contribution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior 8+ years of experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce and at least 2+ years in the Toys category.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier networks in the Toys industry.
  • Expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling assortment and SKU management.
  • Proven record of cross-functional collaboration.
