Job Title: Statistical Leadership Role

">Job Summary:
  • Lead a team of biostatisticians, providing expert consultation to projects on statistical methodology and ensuring the scientific integrity of research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and programmers in clinical research studies, developing study analysis plans and statistical programs to perform analyses and display study data.
  • Provide technical review of proposed statistical designs for research studies, ensuring sound methodologies are adopted.
  • Develop and implement effective statistical designs for research projects, performing sample size calculations and leading the statistical design of research projects.
  • Review protocols and case report forms to maintain standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reported results.
  • Represent clients at regulatory meetings, providing expertise in methodological advances and participating in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience with MS or 1 year of experience with PhD is expected but not required.
  • Experience with methodological statistical research, publication, and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development, including demonstrated proficiency in statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, as well as expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team environment.
