Job Description

  • Plan and execute internal and external audit engagements to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Develop audit plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve organizational objectives
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to senior management to drive business decisions
  • Review and evaluate internal controls to identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with other audit professionals and departmental leaders to ensure effective risk management and compliance
  • Demonstrate expertise in auditing standards, principles, and techniques to provide high-quality audit services
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
  • Display attention to detail and accuracy to ensure accurate reporting and analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA)
  • At least 3 years of experience in audit and assurance services, preferably in a retail banking environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
