As a Accessibility Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that digital products meet accessibility standards, enabling people with disabilities to access and use them. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate accessibility issues, providing clear guidance on accessible coding practices.

You will conduct automated and manual audits to identify accessibility gaps, and develop comprehensive plans to address these issues. Your expertise in WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 guidelines will ensure that our products are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will collaborate with developers to implement accessible design principles, provide training and support on accessible coding practices, and develop documentation on accessibility best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 guidelines
  • Experience with accessibility tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Axe, WAVE, SiteImprove, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Proficiency in HTML5, ARIA, CSS3, and JavaScript (React/Angular a plus)
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • IAAP CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility)
  • IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)
  • IAAP ADS (Accessible Document Specialist)
