Role Overview

The Material Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of material master data within SAP HANA. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of data quality principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extend new material codes across various depots with relevant attributes such as HSN Code, Shipping point, planned price, and standard cost for materials.
  • Maintain and update material master data while performing regular data quality checks.
  • Utilize the SAP MDO Tool to create new codes and VERP, ROH, and HAWA codes, enhancing overall data quality.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow ticketing tool and MDO Tools for workflow testing and material creation.
  • Perform material master change activities, conduct material availability checks, and facilitate stock transfers.
  • Train end-users on material-related activities, including creation, modification, and extension.
  • Provide production data for creating masters data, BOMs, routing, and work centres through BDC reports.
  • Prioritize tasks during extended hours as per business needs and contribute to meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain MDM MIS and dashboards on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for respective activities.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP ECC/HANA.
