As a part-time PhD peer reviewer, you will have the opportunity to evaluate manuscripts for leading journals and publishers.

Job Description

Evaluate manuscripts for novelty, originality, and contribution to the field of study. Assess study design and methodology, ensuring appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clear descriptions for reproducibility.

Review literature citations, ensuring thorough incorporation and up-to-date references. Analyze results and conclusions, determining clarity, appropriateness, and support by data.

Requirements
  • A doctorate degree in the relevant subject area or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Published at least 3 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the past two years.
  • Published at least 12 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the past ten years.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements and highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on evaluations.
