Automation Test Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave).

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web applications, web services, and REST APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess test scenarios and define test requirements using risk-based testing methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements, covering product test, integration test, technical test, and deployment test.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave).
  • Perform web application, web services, and REST API automation testing.
  • Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities in QA delivery.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 7+ years of QA experience (minimum 4+ years in Selenium BDD framework).
  • Strong expertise in Python for automation testing.
  • Hands-on in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (SpecFlow / Behave).
  • QA automation for web applications, web services, REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and manual testing practices.
