Job Title: Educator, Media Literacy Specialist

At a leading educational institution, we are seeking an exceptional educator to join our team. As a pioneering media literacy platform, we foster creativity and fundamental skills for navigating the ever-changing digital landscape.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging curricula for students from grades 6 to 12, focusing on Journalism, Photography, Film Making, Podcasting, and Graphic Design verticals.
  • Media Shala Hubs: Assist in setting up Media Shala hubs in schools, including procurement planning, resource allocation, and equipment management.
  • Learning Workshops: Plan and execute regular learning workshops and programs at Media Shala and Express Programs at different hubs based on need.
  • Mentorship: Develop and curate engaging media projects with students, ensuring maximum learning benefit.
  • Industry Liaison: Collaborate with industry experts for expert talks or student internships, fostering connections and opportunities.
  • Content Creation: Create content for Media Shala's online presence as required, showcasing students' work and achievements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and delivery.
