Job Summary:

Nakshatra Systems seeks a software repository professional to ensure the integrity of our software repository.

This is not a systems administrator profile job, but rather a specialized role focused on managing and maintaining software repositories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in Linux, bash scripting, C, and Python programming languages.
  • Compiling and creating software from source code, including patching and managing software patches.
  • Knowledge of build system tools like autotools, meson, ninja, cmake, make, pkg-config, scons, and ability to create Makefiles as necessary.
  • Keeping track of software dependencies and maintaining Changelogs and other documentation.
  • Providing bug fixes and debugging with gdb if needed, as well as reviewing changes and knowledge of CVS and Git.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English with good verbal and written skills, as well as ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Resolve assigned tasks in the specified time-frame/deadlines, with 0-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Able to sign a legal agreement including NDA and NCA.
