Job Title: Director of Cybersecurity Operations

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead our enterprise-wide security operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on system administration experience, deep AWS/cloud security expertise, and excellent executive communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading security operations across systems, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Driving system hardening and secure configuration across Linux/Windows environments.
  • Architecting and enforcing AWS security policies (IAM, SCP, GuardDuty, logging).
  • Presenting actionable risk insights and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Embedding security practices into the software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Managing rapid compliance and audit preparation (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Ensuring fast turnaround times on InfoSec requests and escalations.
  • Guiding user access control, data governance, and identity lifecycle management.

Requirements:

  • 8–12 years in security leadership and system administration.
  • Deep AWS/cloud security proficiency (IAM, KMS, Terraform, VPC).
  • Proven communicator with executive presence and reporting fluency.
  • Experience in SDLC, code scanning, and secure testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on coordination of certifications and GRC audits under short timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Security Specialty, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are desirable.
