Job Title

Plant Quality Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will serve as the quality assurance partner to our plant manager, focusing on maintaining high-quality standards within their location. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align and implement yearly strategies and budgets.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Inspecting and testing raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of quality assurance professionals
  • Preparing and presenting detailed quality reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components
Requirements:

This position requires a strong background in quality management, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a related field. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in technical engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality management
  • Leadership and intercultural experience
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISO auditor
Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in quality management software, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of quality assurance and control methodologies, including 8D methodology, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why, APQP, FMEA, and Value Stream.

English language proficiency is required, and local language skills are an added advantage.
