Job Opportunity:

Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, requiring us to stay vigilant. As a Cyber SOC Operations Endpoint Security Specialist, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms to ensure seamless security.
  • Create and deploy EDR agent packages using centralized solutions such as SCCM to enhance endpoint security.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for endpoint protection to safeguard against emerging threats.
  • Ensure endpoints are up to date with the latest security patches and software updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Configure EDR policies to align with organizational security requirements for effective threat detection.
  • Customize detection rules to enhance threat detection capabilities and stay ahead of cyber threats.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of endpoint security to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on best practices for endpoint security to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Raise awareness about emerging threats and how to avoid them to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security to remain proactive in threat prevention.
  • Evaluate and recommend new EDR tools and technologies to enhance endpoint security capabilities.
  • Participate in threat intelligence sharing to enhance the organization's security posture and stay informed on emerging threats.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of EDR solutions with existing infrastructure to streamline security operations.
  • Troubleshoot any agent-related issues along with IT team to resolve technical difficulties efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other security teams to improve overall threat detection and response capabilities to strengthen cybersecurity.
  • Support internal and external audit and provide necessary logs/reports within the agreed timeline to ensure compliance.
  • Closing identified vulnerabilities within the defined timeline is crucial to maintaining a secure environment.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to manage and optimize EDR solutions to enhance endpoint security capabilities.
  • Create Agent installation SOPs for various operating systems which can be followed by IT team for manual installation of agents to standardize security processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • SOC Operations - Endpoint Security Specialist
  • Palo Alto/xDR

Education Requirements:

  • B.E / B.Tech (Tier 1/2) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cyber Security.

Work Environment:

  • Base location: Koramangala - Bangalore.
  • Professional required to work from office.
