
Legal Contract Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee key areas of contract management, legal risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and policies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and verifying a wide range of contracts including supply and service agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, tender and bidding documents, HR & admin-related service contracts, transmission and utility contracts, international contracts, NDAs, MOUs, standard T&Cs etc., and financing contracts.
- Ensuring legal and commercial risk mitigation, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with internal policies.
- Providing detailed legal opinions and guidance on diverse matters including bidding strategy and compliance, right of way (RoW) and land acquisition, transmission service agreements (TSAs), share purchase agreements (SPAs), indemnity claims and contractual payment disputes.
- Conducting land-related legal due diligence and title verification for project development. Assessing risks associated with land procurement and RoW.
- Reviewing final bid submissions for infrastructure projects. Handling bid-related legal queries and providing prompt clarifications to the bidding team to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Legal due diligence for acquisition of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) post project awards. Evaluating contractual, corporate, and land-related risks for smooth transition and integration.
- Engaging in direct negotiations with external stakeholders and counterparties. Finalizing contracts by ensuring favorable legal positioning while maintaining business objectives. Should be able to do thorough risk analysis before entering into agreements/contracts.
