Factory Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Manager to lead and manage our plant operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in the Food Industry and a strong background in factory management.

  • Lead and manage plant operations to ensure successful production outcomes
  • Monitor and control budgets, costs, and productivity across all departments
  • Evaluate and implement Quality Risk Management, FSSCI, GPCB, APEDA, and labour laws
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
  • Maintain machinery, resolve production issues, and optimize operations
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for management review
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain excellent relations with employees
  • Collaborate with statutory bodies and manage inspections efficiently
Job Requirements

The successful Factory Manager will possess:

  • B.E. / B.Tech (Food Technology) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in factory management, preferably in the Food Industry
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulations
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
