Enterprise Data Governance Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Professional to oversee our data intelligence platform and lead enterprise-wide governance initiatives.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to define and scale data practices, work with senior stakeholders, and influence data culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and administer data governance policies across the enterprise.
  • Design and configure data operating models (domains, assets, workflows, and roles).
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate data platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data governance platforms, including configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with data APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Data governance certifications highly preferred.
