Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute test cases based on user stories, presenting results and tracking defects to closure
  • Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
  • Review test cases and automation approach with stakeholders for feedback and coverage
  • Track test execution milestones and report issues that may affect project timelines

The system test engineer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across multiple applications. This involves creating detailed test plans, maintaining accurate documentation of all testing processes and procedures.

This role requires strong analytical skills to quickly identify software bugs and develop effective solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your work with ongoing development efforts.

Professional expertise in a specific technical area (e.g. QA methodologies) is preferred. Experience working with cloud-based tools and technologies is also highly valued.

Developing and implementing automated testing frameworks is crucial to ensuring high-quality software delivery. You are expected to design, develop, deploy and maintain these frameworks according to quality standards.

Working Hours:

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with software application protocols, architectural patterns, data structures, algorithms, and code reviews
  • Oversee preparation and use equipment assigned to employees for job tasks and utilize proper maintenance techniques to ensure operational reliability
  • Program executable code using standard programming languages like Java and Python. Design, build, test, and debug the program once it's complete

Requirements:

  • Specific technical qualifications required include six years of experience in system testing and two years in automation development
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
