Job Description

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer with Automation Skills

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Postman and other automation tools.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation.
- Take ownership of projects and demonstrate proactiveness in identifying and addressing issues.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in QA and test automation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools, specifically Postman.
- Experience with other automation tools.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and tasks and proactively address issues.
- Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in the transportation industry.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
