Job Description

Job Title: SDET Lead - Survey, Mapping and BCFS

Location: Chennai, India

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Being part of defining, building, and maintaining globally used desktop and cloud solutions
- Active participation in team responsibilities and process development in a globally distributed organization

Required Skills and Experience

- Primary responsibility of writing frameworks and tools to test products, combining the building aspect of software design engineering with the breaking aspect of software test engineering
- Work with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand project features, review technical designs, and implement automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency
- Experience testing Desktop, WebServices, REST APIs, multi-tier web components
- Perform functional, design, regression, accessibility, and performance testing
- Identify, isolate, regress, and communicate issues/defects with detailed reproduction steps
- Analyze test logs, create test reports, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ability to respond to support-reported bugs to obtain relevant information in order to reproduce the reported issues
- Experience with using frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, Selenium, Postman, and Ranorex

Desirable Skills and Experience

- 6+ years of QA testing experience, including working on automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience using tools like JIRA, Jenkins
- Strong coding skills using Python and/or C#
- Demonstrable proficiency with a wide variety of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, EC2, and IAM
- Security testing and performance experience is a plus
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Ability to work in a team environment, work with and motivate others
