Job Description:

  • Provide advanced support on rotating equipment monitoring and maintenance.
  • Utilize various techniques for condition monitoring, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and videoscopy.
  • Monitor and analyze data from online and offline sources to provide recommendations for maintenance needs.
  • Support reliability improvement plans based on condition monitoring parameters.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of rotating equipment conditions through tracking and analyzing data.
  • Ensure compliance with associated standards and procedures for rotating equipment health.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data and monitor and analyze condition monitoring data, including vibration, oil analysis, and wear particle analysis.
  • Identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure through operational machine condition monitoring parameters.
  • Prepare corrective actions and recommendations for observed faults and defects.
  • Monitor and track rotating equipment conditions in terms of failures, bad actors, cost, and count, and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Compliance to best maintenance practices of Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), Lubrication, and Equipment changeover.
  • Provide updates and reviews for best condition monitoring practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge application of condition-based maintenance techniques with an ability to independently troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment problems.
  • Basic knowledge of machine condition monitoring, balancing, alignment, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types.
  • Familiarization with various vibration standards.
  • Basic understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Necessary qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and accredited Vibration Analysis training (Cat I).
  • Desirable qualifications include formal trainings in Condition Monitoring subjects and techniques, as well as certification in condition monitoring techniques.
