Job Overview:

Our organization seeks a skilled Mortgage Income Analyst to perform income calculations and review financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Document Review: Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents, including W2s, 1040s, pay stubs, and bank statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Income Calculation: Calculate debt-to-income ratios and assess loan-to-value ratios to support lending decisions.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, including DTI, LTV, HTI, AUS (DU/LP), FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting with a focus on income calculation.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of US mortgage underwriting guidelines and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confidentiality: Experience working with confidential information and sensitive client data.
  • Tax Law Knowledge: Knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and/or local language.
