Software Tester Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in test automation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing infrastructure;
  • Creating and running test plans for APIs, services, and frontend applications;
  • Working closely with developers to test new features before, during, and after development;
  • Validating APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or custom test scripts;
  • Monitoring and improving test coverage across unit, integration, and system levels;
  • Integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar);
  • Performing load, performance, and security testing to ensure robustness under scale;
  • Collaborating with DevOps to manage test environments and mock services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in test automation or QA roles with a strong technical foundation;
  • Solid knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks;
  • Strong understanding of API testing, including writing test scripts in Postman or code;
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (preferably Python or JavaScript);
  • Familiarity with testing across microservices and architectures;
  • Comfort working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD platforms;
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to read logs and trace issues across systems;
  • Experience writing detailed bug reports, test cases, and documentation.
