Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sound Designer to create, edit, and mix sound effects and music tracks for our video lectures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of audio design principles and experience working with educational or documentary content.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Add relevant sound effects to animations, experiments, and props usage
  • Clean up dialogue/narration audio
  • Sync audio with animations and edits
  • Manage music libraries and sound templates

 

Requirements:

  • Primary proficiency in Logic Pro, Ableton Live or similar digital audio workstations
  • Proficiency in Audition (secondary)
  • Experience in syncing sound for educational or documentary content
  • Solid understanding of AI tools and platforms
  • Insert and adjust sound effects for experiment demonstrations, animations, and transitions
  • Collaborate with video editors, operations, and academics to synchronize music and effects with visuals
  • Experience in composing background tracks for videos
  • Mix and master voiceovers with music/SFX
  • Familiarity with royalty-free music libraries and copyright standards
