Our team is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Exploration Geologist.

We are looking for a skilled individual with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Structural Geology and Upstream operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seismic analysis, geology mapping, workflow optimization, and fault analysis. Experience in software development or programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R would be beneficial but not required.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is necessary, with a proven track record of success in similar roles. The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of autonomy, independence, and self-motivation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading exploration projects from initial planning to delivery
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on technical and business matters

Location: Bangalore. Work mode: 5 days/week (office-based). Interview process: Virtual Video Interview.
