Lead Software Engineer in Quality Assurance

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Software Engineer in Quality Assurance to drive the development of our software testing processes. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our native mobile applications, web platforms, and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) through robust automation testing strategies.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation testing frameworks using Java for native mobile apps (Android and iOS), web applications, and PWAs.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive automated test suites, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered tools and techniques into our testing workflows to improve test case generation, defect prediction, visual regression testing, and overall automation efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of proven practical experience in Software Testing or a related role, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Deep understanding of Automation testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining automation testing frameworks for Native Apps (Android and iOS), Web applications, PWAs, and API Testing.
  • Strong proficiency in using testing tools and technologies such as Jira, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Demonstrable familiarity and practical experience with AI-powered tools and techniques relevant to software testing (e.g., AI-driven test generation, visual AI testing, defect prediction tools).
  • Solid experience as a Java Developer, SDET, or Test Automation Engineer with strong coding skills in Java.
