Piping Structural Design Specialist

At a leading organization, we're seeking an experienced piping structural design specialist to develop detailed piping and structural designs based on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative piping and structural designs based on client specifications.
  • Plan effective piping systems using P&ID and clash-free routing in design software.
  • Resolve model review tags and update 3D models based on client drawings.
  • Prepare high-quality 3D snapshots and communicate with clients for requirement gathering and regular project updates.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team spread across the globe through strong communication.
  • Research and implement various requirements, making informed decisions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in weekly review meetings and contribute ideas or solutions to problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in piping structural design.
  • Expertise in P&ID and layout reading.
  • Hands-on experience in Aveva E3D software.
  • Knowledge of resolving clashes and updates in 3D models.
  • Sound fundamental knowledge of engineering principles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in extracting piping deliverables from 3D models.
  • Experience in preparing 3D model snapshots with mark-ups and resolving engineering issues.
