Machine Learning Engineer

We're seeking an experienced MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER to design, develop, and deploy robust ML models in a production environment. Your expertise in cloud technologies will be key to creating scalable solutions that deliver real business value.

About the Role

This is a critical position for our organization, requiring a strong background in machine learning. As a MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER, you'll collaborate with data scientists to translate models and algorithms into production-ready code.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Deploy End-to-End Machine Learning Pipelines: Utilize cloud services like AWS SageMaker to create efficient and scalable ML pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists: Work closely with data scientists to translate models and algorithms into production-ready code.
  • Manage the Machine Learning Lifecycle: Oversee the entire ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Implement MLOps Best Practices: Automate workflows and ensure model performance and reliability using MLOps principles.
  • Optimize ML Models: Enhance ML model performance, scalability, and cost efficiency on the cloud platform.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Deployed Models: Ensure deployed models meet performance and business requirements.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a machine learning or data science role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, specifically AWS SageMaker.
  • Proficiency in Python and standard ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps principles and tools for CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of data engineering principles and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Experience with other AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and Redshift.
  • Certifications like AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty.
  • Experience with model serving frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
