Memory Layout Engineer Position

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating innovative memory compiler layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts for cutting-edge Cores.

This is a mid-level position requiring a strong understanding of CMOS Transistors and their behaviors, as well as basic knowledge of CMOS logic design and layout. The ideal candidate should possess an engineering demeanor and a passion for Circuit layouts.

  • You will be responsible for designing high-quality, rule-driven layouts and collaborating with the engineering team to propose changes based on layout implications.
  • Exploring possible floor planning options and proposing improvements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SRAM / memory layouts creation and backend verifications, including EMIR analysis are required.

Nice to have skills include proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl or Python and some experience working on Cadence or Synopsys flows.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop memory compilers layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts for next-generation Cores
  • Create high-quality, rule-driven layouts
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to review schematics and propose changes based on layout implications
  • Explore floor planning options and propose improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SRAM / memory layouts creation and backend verifications
  • Strong understanding of CMOS Transistors and their behaviors
  • Basic knowledge of CMOS logic design and layout
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
