Company Secretary Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, and secretarial practices.



Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act and other relevant laws.
  • Statutory Registers: Maintain and update statutory registers and records.
  • Document Review: Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate board meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
  • Counseling: Advise the board on corporate governance practices and policies.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage filings.
  • Communication: Manage shareholder communications and maintain shareholder registers.


Requirements:
  • Certification: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
  • Law Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant laws.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Drafting Proficiency: Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience: Experience with corporate governance and compliance practices.
